We offer a range of course through our affiliation to The Royal Lifesaving Society these include First Aid, Lifesaving and Lifeguard Training to our members, starting from Rookies through the new RLSS Survive & Save Awards onto Lifeguard qualifications in Beach and Pool Disciplines.
Our Pool Training Sessions run on a Thursday evening at Everyone Active Poole (Dolphin Swimming Pool)
During the Summer Season we run our Open Water Sessions on a Tuesday Evenings & Rookie Beach Sessions on selected Sundays throughout the season.
We are also a member of the Poole, Bournemouth & Christchurch Lifesaving Association who are affiliated to the RYA and allow us to offer Power Boat & VHF Radio Qualifications.
These course are arranged throughout the year subject to demand.

Pool Training Thursday Night Training is our main Club night held at Everyone Active Poole (Dolphin Swimming Pool) Sessions are held every Thursday evening throughout the year including the School Summer Holidays & Half Term Breaks.
Our Thursday Night Sessions are divided into two sessions
Session 1 | Caters for our younger members | |
Theory | 19:30 - 20:15 | Learn basic First Aid & Water Safety Theory. |
Pool | 20:15 - 21:00 | Progress through the RLSS Rookie Awards |
Session 2 | This session is aimed at our older members. | |
Theory | 20:30 - 21:15 | It offers the Senior Awards from RLSS with the newly released Survive & Save Awards |
Pool | 21:15 - 22:15 | & Pool Training Elements from the Lifeguard Qualifications. |

Open Water Training Our Beach Training Sessions take place over the Summer Season (May – Sept) at our Base down at Sandbanks Beach in Poole.
The main Club Beach Training evening is on Tuesday held between 18:00 & 20:00
Training is offered in Lifesaving/Lifeguarding Skills through Assistant Beach Lifeguard Course, Survive & Save Beach Element 6 RLSS National Beach Lifeguard Qualification
Rookie Beach and Survive & Save Beach Elements are held on selected Sundays throughout the season.
Notice of these dates will be given out at the start of the season.
Throughout the season 1 week Intensive courses may be available subject to demand and availability of Trainers

Through the club we can offer Rookie Instructor & Survive & Save Instructor Courses.
Through our affiliation to the PBCLSA and the RLSS Wessex Branch courses are run for Lifeguard Trainer Assessors.
