As detailed in previous posts the club is aiming recommence training on Thursday 10th September and we are glad to announce that we have been able to accommodate all 55 members who signed up to want to start training with us again.
We aim to provide a safe environment for you to continue your training activities but, for this to happen the following guidelines will be adhered to, from the 10th September each week, into the foreseeable future. Whilst restrictions may get relaxed with time, we should not become complacent and we will encourage all members to be proactive in ensuring that you stay safe whilst you are with us.
IMPORTANT
If you have any of the symptoms of COVID-19,
- Do not come to training. Stay away from the Dolphin Pool

- So that we can implement our track and trace system:
let the club know that you are self isolating by doing the following:- Call your your own group trainer
- Call our Training Officers: Andy Smart or Lara Moore
- Send an email to training@rlss-poole.org.uk
- Only resume training with us once you have spoken to either Andy Smart or Lara Moore to confirm that your are free from COVID-19 symptoms and or have completed your self isolation period.
Symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19)
The most common symptoms are new:
- continuous cough
- fever/high temperature (37.8C or greater)
- loss of, or change in, sense of smell or taste (anosmia)
A new continuous cough is where you:
- have a new cough that’s lasted for an hour
- have had 3 or more episodes of coughing in 24 hours
- are coughing more than usual
A high temperature is feeling hot to the touch on your chest or back (you don’t need to measure your temperature). You may feel warm, cold or shivery.
Some people will have more serious symptoms, including pneumonia or difficulty breathing, which might require admission to hospital.
The nature of COVID-19 means that advice around safe practice is constantly changing.
This list will be reviewed as the advice is updated.
